SECURING

Controlling server access by browser clients that use Java and JavaScript
These settings are for use only with IBM® Lotus® Domino® 5.x and earlier servers. They should not be used with a Domino 6 or later server and are included for the purpose of backwards compatibility only, to be used to manage prior releases of Domino servers with the current IBM Notes® client.

Procedure

1. From the Domino Administrator, click Configuration, and open the Server document.

2. Click the Security tab.

3. In the Programmability Restrictions section, complete one or both of these fields, and then save the document:

Run restricted Java/JavaScript/COM - Enter the names of authenticated browser users and/or groups allowed to run server programs created with a specific set of Java™ and JavaScript™ features.
Leave the field blank (default) to deny access to all users and groups.
Run unrestricted Java/JavaScript/COM - Enter the names of authenticated browser users and/or groups allowed to run server programs created with all Java and JavaScript features. Leave the field blank (default) to deny access to all users and groups.
