Example

Sets the scope for the default value of an attribute. This tag has no body.

<domino:preset scope="application|session|request|page" dbname="database name" dbserver="server name" user="login information" password="password associated with user" viewname="name of the view" unid="Universal ID of the document" responseto="parent document's unid" host="name of CORBA server" bundle="name of .properties file bundle" timezone="time zone" locale="<languageCode>_<countryCode>" onfailure="inline|exception" debug="true|false" onfailure="inline|exception" time="true|false">

Attributes

The following attributes are optional:

bundle

Name of the message bundle to use to look up internationalized messages. Default is messages.

host

Name of the Domino CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture) server to use to host the back-end classes. If specified, forces a CORBA session. If not specified, all the tags check for the existence of this environment property to initialize the session; a Domino server must be running locally on the same machine that is running the JSP Web container. Default is null which creates a local, non-CORBA, session.

dbname

Name of the database to use.

dbserver

Name of the remote Domino server that hosts the database. Default is Local.

locale

Locale to use to look up internationalized messages or to perform output formatting. Use the following syntax: "<languageCode>_<countryCode>". See

Locale codes

for more details. By default, the locale is derived by the container from the browser's AcceptLang string.

password

Password associated with the specified user.

responseto

Domino universal id for the parent document of a new response document.

scope

Indicates the scope at which to set the default value. Must be one of the following: application, session, request, or page. Default is page.

timezone

Time zone to use to display the date. If you do not specify a value, defaults to the time zone of the server (not the browser).

unid

Domino universal id for the context document.

user

User ID used to log into the session. Default is Anonymous.

viewname

Name of the view to display or use as the context for a form or query.
