Copying an existing Domino database
If you have found an IBM® Lotus® Domino(TM) application that contains all or most of the functionality you are looking for, you can:

Copy the design of the database and use it as the basis for a new application.
Copy individual design elements.

You can use the database as is, or you can modify it. If you modify a database, be sure to protect the individual design elements from being overwritten by a design refresh or replace.
