Beginning in HCL Notes 12, a client notes.ini setting can be used to change between full and partial replication based on network bandwidth.

Procedure

Push the following notes.ini setting:

NetworkSpeedInMbps=value, wherevalue is the network speed in megabytes per second (Mbps) at which to enable partial replication.

For example, to enable partial replication on the Notes client when the network speed falls below 8 Mbps, specify networkSpeedInMbps=8.

This feature is supported on Windows and Mac OS clients.
