The following features relate to the HCL Notes end-user experience.
Prevent or allow messages that exceed outgoing limits For any limit specified in the Set outgoing limits section of a Mail Settings policy, you now control whether to prevent messages that exceed the limit and show an error or to allow them and show a warning.
View actions for individual email messages are seen in the action bar View actions that are available from a single email message are now seen by default in the action bar in addition to when hovering over a message.
Enable partial replication for slow network speed Beginning in HCL Notes 12, a client notes.ini setting can be used to change between full and partial replication based on network bandwidth.
Enable proper rendering of HTML buttons that use exact positioning when Notes users receive external mail messages with HTML-rendered buttons that use exact positioning, the notes.ini setting DontFilterPositionStyling=1 is available to render them properly.
Customize the Notes workspace You can set a color for the text in the Notes 12 workspace. You can revert the Notes 12 workspace to the Notes 11 design.
Enable Notes XTAF spelling dictionaries on the Mac As of HCL Notes V12.0, the Mac client uses spelling dictionaries provided through the Mac OS, by default. You can use a client notes.ini setting to switch to using the pre-installed Notes XTAF dictionaries.
