Notes® is available for install and upgrade in multiple languages.
On supported Microsoft™ Windows™ platforms, non-English versions of Notes are available in Multilingual User Interface (MUI) packs, which are installed after the English version Notes install.
On supported Linux™ and Mac OS X platforms, non-English versions of Notes are available for install directly as Native Language install kits (NL kits) which are used instead of the English version Notes install.
Installing a Multilingual User Interface (MUI) pack The MUI pack is installed after the English version of the Notes client has been installed.
Using the Native Language (NL) packs When you install Notes Mac OS platforms, language kits are available for your use. Typically these language kits, referred to as native language (NL) packs, are available shortly after the Notes general release.
Installing Notes spelling dictionaries The non-English language dictionaries are supplied in MUI packs and NL install kits. If you are using a MUI pack or NL install kit to install the language dictionaries, no additional action is needed.
