TOTAL Recall allows IT Help Desks and Domino Administrators to recall any user's sent Lotus Notes email message using a Notes or Web user interface. For example, if a user sends a confidential email to the wrong person, or a terminated employee sends a malicious email it can be recalled in a few mouse clicks. TOTAL Recall can be your insurance policy to prevent possible legal disasters costing millions of dollars, for example, as seen with incidents in the media and automotive industry. If central control and risk aversion is important to your company you should be using TOTAL Recall. It offers significantly more functionality than Notes and Domino 8.5. In addition to central control for IT Help Desks and Domino Adminstrators, it can also be configured to allow end users to recall their own messages as it has done since it's inception in April 2005. Without TOTAL Recall, (1) the IT Help Desk and Domino Administrator cannot automatically recall a user's sent message, and (2) the end user cannot recall their sent message unless using a Notes 8 client and Notes 8 mail template design.
